Author’s Note: I mentioned in earlier chapters that the events of my life more or less mirrored the themes of the major arcana card associated with each chapter as I was drawing said chapter. This one in particular was pretty intense because it was so close to the end and I was so immensely unsatisfied with the comic. I’ve since become much more proud of it, but at the time, I regretted that I didn’t have the skills to make Unfortunate what I envisioned it to be. But now, I think it’s okay. Wonky anatomy and all.
